About The Position
Functions as a member of the surgical team, assisting the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist, and RN in delivering direct patient care throughout the preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to certified applicants; internal applicants and RUSH transfers are not eligible. Compensation is determined by factors including education, job-related experience and skills, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. Requirements
- Graduate of a surgical technology program of at least one year in duration.
- Possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
- Hold a current American Heart Association CPR card.
- Ability to function in emergency situations.
- Ability to take call upon request.
