About The Position

Elara Caring is hiring a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes in Waterbury, Thomaston, Naugatuck, Watertown, and surrounding areas. The role is intended for a certified CNA active with the Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry. The position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to support patients in maintaining their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life at home.

The CNA provides personal care, companionship, and support with daily activities, while observing and reporting changes in patient condition to the care team. The role involves travel within the service area and the ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including when positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment. The posted base pay is $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Additional compensation may be available but is not guaranteed. Requirements

• Active CNA certification in the state of employment; the posting specifies an active Connecticut Nurse Aide Registry certification.
