About The Position

Cascades at Orchard Park is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant in Orem, Utah. The role works three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 6 AM to 6 PM. Exact workdays are discussed during the interview, and there is no weekend requirement. On-the-job training is provided and tailored to the employee’s experience and comfort level. Requirements

• Current CNA certification.
• Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn and follow long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Answer residents’ call lights and determine their needs.
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
• Provide physical support with activities of daily living, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, and exercising.
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure residents follow appropriate diets.
• Record food and fluid intake and output as necessary.
• Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Build relationships with residents to help ensure their stay is comfortable and dignified.
