Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Full Time Days
About The Position
Cascades at Orchard Park is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for day shifts at its Orem, Utah location. The role provides resident care and support in a long-term care setting, helping residents with daily living activities and promoting a comfortable, dignified stay. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, from 6 AM to 6 PM. Exact workdays are discussed during the interview, and weekends are not required. On-the-job training is tailored to the employee’s experience and comfort level. The employer offers career-growth opportunities, including nursing tuition reimbursement of up to $500 per month toward a nursing program.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
- Willingness to learn and follow long-term care regulations.
Responsibilities
- Answer residents’ call lights and determine their needs.
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed.
- Provide physical support with daily living activities, including getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, and exercising.
- Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to help ensure residents receive appropriate diets.
- Record food and fluid intake and output as necessary.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents to help ensure their stay is comfortable and dignified.
