About The Position
Village Caregiving is hiring dedicated in-home caregivers to support veterans and older adults with activities of daily living in and around the Hickory area. The role focuses on safety, well-being, and compassionate care in clients’ homes. Duties include grooming, light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation. No experience is required; paid caregiver training and CPR certification are provided. The position offers flexible schedules and an overnight opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide activities-of-daily-living assistance to seniors in their homes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and office support staff.
- Report emergencies appropriately.
- Provide compassionate and comforting care to older adults.
- Accurately report time and client updates.
- Keep work organized and timely.
- Complete caregiver care sheets.
- Assist with grooming, light housekeeping, running errands, and meal preparation.
