About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day-shift role at Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, California. The position works 12-hour shifts and offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital is a 50-bed critical care hospital and a 32-bed skilled nursing facility providing long-term acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions.

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists licensed nursing personnel with patient care. This includes providing and documenting activities of daily living, personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The role also uses basic infection-control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid-intake skills, and requires recognizing and responding to emergency situations. The posted hourly wage range is $23.00 to $26.43.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant, as applicable in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor within six months of hire.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

• Acute care or LTAC experience.
