About The Position

Meadowview Regional Medical Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Medical Surgical Unit. This PRN role works 12-hour shifts as needed and supports compassionate, high-quality inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. The CNA works collaboratively with nurses, patient care technicians, providers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide safe, patient-centered care and support positive outcomes and a strong patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• CNA or EMT experience/qualification preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Support patient mobility by safely transferring, repositioning, and ambulating patients.
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort, and keep the care environment clean and safe in accordance with facility protocols.
