About The Position

Baptist Health Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients through rehabilitation and recovery. The position has variable scheduling with rotating 12-hour shifts. The CNA provides compassionate, patient-focused assistance with daily living needs and works alongside nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative environment focused on helping patients regain independence and achieve their highest level of recovery.

Requirements

• Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program.
• Current State CNA certification.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in an acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide emotional support and compassionate patient care.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, feeding, hydration, and patient comfort needs.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to patient requests.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
• Support nurses and the interdisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
