About The Position
Senior Helpers is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for in-home care positions across Rhode Island, including Providence, East Providence, Cranston, Pawtucket, Warwick, West Warwick, Johnston, Smithfield, Middletown, Cumberland, Coventry, South County, Newport, Narragansett, South Kingstown, North Smithfield, and other areas. Immediate openings are available for morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Full-time and part-time positions are available, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week. The CNA provides non-medical senior care and support, including companionship, conversation, hobbies, meal preparation, walking assistance, diet monitoring, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living. The role also supports aging in place and recovery after hospitalization. Senior Helpers is a national in-home senior care provider founded in 2002. Its services range from specialized care for people with chronic diseases to companion services for seniors who need help with daily activities. Requirements
- Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or a temporary CNA license.
- Pass a national background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide caring companionship, conversation, and support with hobbies.
- Prepare meals.
- Assist clients with walking and monitor their diets.
- Assist with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living.
- Provide non-medical care, aging support, and support during recovery after hospitalization.
