About The Position

BrightStar Care of North Miami is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support seniors and older adults in their homes in the Miami-Dade County, Florida area. The role provides compassionate, dependable personal care and day-to-day assistance, helping clients live safely, comfortably, and independently. Flexible scheduling is available, including full-time, part-time, weekend, evening, and live-in opportunities. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour, with weekly pay by direct deposit.

Requirements

Valid Florida CNA certification or license in good standing.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid CPR certification.
Physical examination and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
Successful completion of required drug screening and motor vehicle background screening.
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers.
Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings.
Assist clients with active and passive mobility exercises according to their plan of care.
Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the Director of Nursing.
Provide companionship and day-to-day assistance while helping clients maintain their independence.
