About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated caregivers in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, to provide personalized, non-medical care to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported while maintaining their dignity and independence. The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience through an agency.
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality care.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable positions.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and onboarding procedures.
• A genuine commitment to treating every client with dignity, kindness, and respect.
• Ability to provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Follow care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
