About The Position
Help at Home Senior Care is immediately hiring caregivers/personal assistants to support seniors in maintaining independence and living safely at home. Duties vary according to each client’s individual needs and may include personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation, companionship, and help with activities of daily living. Professional caregiving experience is not required, though experience supporting seniors—including family members or friends—is preferred. The position offers flexible scheduling, paid training and certification classes, professional development and advancement opportunities, and weekly pay. Starting pay is $22.50–$24.50 per hour based on hands-on skill and dementia competence assessments, with opportunities for additional pay and raises.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance with the applicant listed as a driver and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Dependability and integrity.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage seniors in meaningful activities.
- Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management.
- Prepare and serve meals according to clients’ dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
