About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers assist with daily activities and provide companionship, comfort, and peace of mind to clients and their families. Applicants may have prior caregiving experience or be new to the field; the company provides training, support, and resources, including orientation, shadow shifts, and a six-week mentor program.

Requirements

Be compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers.
Give medication reminders.
Transport clients to appointments and errands.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
