About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Caregivers provide assistance and companionship during client visits. Applicants may have prior caregiving experience or be new to caregiving; training, support, and resources are provided. The position is in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Requirements

• Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting or incontinence care.
• Provide mobility assistance and help with transfers.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
