About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care and may perform selected nursing procedures defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy and supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. The role collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

Requirements

• Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity for hospitalized patients and their families.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities
