About The Position

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides patient care and may perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA transports non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy and supports the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed. The CNA collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.

This full-time position is on the CVU, with 12-hour day shifts, variable days off, and 72 hours per pay period. Enloe Health is a Level II Trauma Center in Northern California. Requirements

• Current certification with the California Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrate technical competence, communication skills, and sensitivity toward hospitalized patients and their families.
• Be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
