About The Position
Baptist MD Anderson is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support its Infusion Clinic. This is a full-time, day-shift position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position is based at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in downtown Jacksonville, Florida, and requires willingness to travel to the Clay and South locations if needed. CNAs assist registered nurses in patient care and work under the supervision of an RN. Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and focused on providing quality patient care.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- Willingness to travel to the Clay and South locations if needed.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patients’ activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
