About The Position
Baptist MD Anderson is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its Infusion Clinic. The CNA assists registered nurses in providing patient care and works under the supervision of an RN. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It is based at Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. The CNA must be willing to travel to the Clay and South locations if needed. Its centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- Required: Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- No experience required.
- No education required; high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be willing to travel to the Clay and South locations if needed.

Responsibilities
- Assist registered nurses in supporting patient care under RN supervision.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect laboratory specimens.
- Monitor patient intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
