About The Position

Bone & Joint is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality, compassionate care to surgical and procedural patients at its surgery centers. The role works closely with nursing staff in a fast-paced environment and helps ensure patients are treated with dignity and respect. Duties include assisting patients with mobility and repositioning, preparing equipment and supplies, and performing preoperative tasks such as checking vital signs, testing blood sugar, and taking blood samples. Work hours may vary between 0600 and 1800.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or the ability to apply for it.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to surgical and procedural patients while treating them with dignity and respect.
• Work closely with nursing staff to care for patients.
• Help patients move around the facility.
• Reposition patients to promote comfort.
• Assist with preparing equipment and supplies for use.
• Check vital signs.
• Test blood sugar.
• Take blood samples and perform other preoperative tests.
