Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant

About The Position

Silverado is hiring a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with dignity, empathy, and purpose. The role combines clinical care with personal connection to enhance the lives of people living with memory impairments, including Alzheimer’s and dementia. The CNA assists residents with daily living needs, builds relationships with residents and families, maintains care records, and reports changes to the nursing team. This is a full-time morning position with a 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. schedule on a four-days-on, two-days-off rotation. The anticipated pay range is $15–$19 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

Completion of CNA training and a valid CNA certificate number are required.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working around animals and pets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and the Silverado team.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
