About The Position
Lake Providence Nursing & Rehab, part of the Volare Health network, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality, person-centered care to residents. The role supports residents’ comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. Experienced and newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply. The position offers full-time work with 12-hour shifts available, pay of $12.00–$13.60 per hour, and a limited-time $1,500 sign-on bonus for new hires. Bonus eligibility, payment terms, and conditions are provided during the hiring process. Benefits are available to eligible employees.
Requirements
- Hold a current Louisiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- Bring a compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
- Communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Commit to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in resident condition.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, person-centered care.
- Promote resident dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communicate resident needs and observations to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care.
- Follow facility policies, infection control practices, and applicable safety standards.
