About The Position

Lake Providence Nursing & Rehab, part of the Volare Health network, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide quality, person-centered care to residents. The role supports residents’ comfort, dignity, safety, and independence. Experienced and newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply. The position offers full-time 12-hour shifts and a limited-time $1,500 sign-on bonus for new hires. Bonus eligibility, payment terms, and conditions are provided during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Current Louisiana Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to resident care.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in residents’ conditions.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, person-centered care.
• Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Communicate residents’ needs and observations to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to support quality resident care.
• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable safety standards.
