About The Position
Interim HealthCare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for one-on-one personal home care in Wadsworth, Illinois, near Libertyville. The CNA will provide daily living assistance, mobility and transfer support, companionship, and other care to a client in a home setting. Hoyer lift experience is required. The position offers 4-hour shifts on assigned days, with weekday and weekend availability needed; applicants do not need to be available all seven days. The role is listed as PRN, with immediate openings and opportunities for additional assignments.
Requirements
- Active Illinois CNA certification.
- Hoyer lift experience.
- Reliable transportation to Wadsworth, Illinois.
- Availability for 4-hour shifts on assigned days.
- Compassionate and dependable, and comfortable providing one-on-one care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous home care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift for client transfers.
- Provide mobility assistance and support.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
