About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a W-2 per diem Certified Nursing Assistant for Wayne County's 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The on-site position offers shifts selected by the CNA, with no minimum hours and availability on any day of the week. Shifts are generally eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break, and 12-hour shifts may be available. Shift options are 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, and 10:30 PM–7:00 AM. The hourly rate is $25.00–$28.00, based on experience; night and weekend shifts are paid at the top of the range. Overtime over 40 hours and all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee's rate. A confirmed shift canceled by the facility two hours or less before it begins is paid for four hours. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and CLFC provides professional liability insurance for every shift. The CNA provides residents with personal care, meal assistance, mobility support, and vital-sign monitoring, and reports observed changes to the nurse. The facility has licensed nurses on every shift. Additional offerings include reimbursement for CPR renewal, support for continuing education and certifications, tuition assistance of up to $1,500 per year toward an LPN or RN program, and a $500 referral bonus for bringing a nurse or aide onto the roster. Training and development are provided through CLFC University. The BRIDGE App displays open shifts for workers to select and confirm.
