About The Position

Moments Hospice is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), also referred to as a Hospice Aide, to provide hands-on personal care to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living residences, and care facilities. The role focuses on helping patients remain comfortable, clean, and cared for while providing companionship and support to their families. The CNA works closely with an RN Case Manager as part of an interdisciplinary care team, with structured training and support. The position is full-time, field-based, and scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay is $18–$23 per hour.

The company offers a fleet car for business and personal use, with fuel and insurance covered at minimal cost. Other listed benefits are subject to eligibility.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Ability to work in an electronic medical record system.
• Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Compassion, patience, and ability to handle emotional situations with care.
• Strong understanding of professional boundaries.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and a good understanding of body mechanics.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare caregiving experience in home care, assisted living/memory care, skilled nursing, hospital, or hospice.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and skin care.
• Assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, range of motion, exercise, and ambulation.
• Assist with dining and nutrition.
• Review and follow each patient's plan of care under the direction of the RN Case Manager.
• Provide comfort and companionship to patients and support to their families.
• Maintain electronic medical records.
