CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty (Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care to clients in Friendship, Tennessee. The role provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The office is in Brownsville, Tennessee, and the coverage area is Friendship, Tennessee. The position offers independent work with team support, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for advancement. Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides services in the home to support patients, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record as defined by agency policy.
- Hold CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Use proper body mechanics while lifting; the role may require lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered one-to-one care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete documentation using the HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
- Help with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health care tasks.
- Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home management tasks.
