About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This is a full-time daytime position supporting a pediatric case. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Thursday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The posting notes that a male aide is preferred based on patient needs. The office location is Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and the coverage area is Hendersonville, Tennessee.

The CNA provides one-to-one care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists clients with personal care and home management, and documents care using the HomeCare HomeBase electronic medical record. Adoration Health provides services in patients’ homes and describes its work as supporting patients, families, and caregivers with compassionate, community-focused care.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.
• Have certification if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state where care is provided.
• Use proper body mechanics while lifting and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Complete proper documentation using the HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
• Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
• Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
• Perform medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
• Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and other related home management tasks.
