About The Position
Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in St. Johns County. The CNA completes client-requested tasks in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The role supports seniors in aging with dignity, independence, and confidence in their homes. The position is PRN, with shifts varying by client. Available shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, with flexible scheduling that may include daytime, overnight, and weekend work. Requirements
- One year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- CPR certification completed in person; online certification is not accepted.
- Reliable and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
- Provide basic observation and medical monitoring, and give medication reminders under the RN Supervisor's direction.
- Document completed tasks and report changes in a client's condition.
- Provide companionship and social engagement.
