About The Position

Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Orange County. The CNA completes tasks requested by clients in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The schedule is PRN and varies by client, with flexible shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours, including daytime, overnight, and weekend availability.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• CPR certification completed in person; online certification is not accepted.
• Reliable and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting.
• Provide light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
• Do laundry as needed.
• Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
• Perform basic observation and medical monitoring, and provide medication reminders under the RN Supervisor's direction.
• Document completed tasks and report changes in a client's condition.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
