About The Position
Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Leon County. The CNA completes client-requested tasks in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The role offers PRN scheduling that varies by client, with shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours and flexible daytime, overnight, and weekend availability. The organization is a not-for-profit senior-living provider founded in 1954, serving more than 10,000 residents. Requirements
- One year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- CPR certification completed in person; online certification is not accepted.
- Reliable and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
- Perform basic observation and medical monitoring, and provide medication reminders under the direction of the RN Supervisor.
- Document completed tasks and report changes in a client's condition.
- Provide companionship and social engagement.
