About The Position

Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Pinellas County. The CNA completes tasks requested by the client in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The position is PRN, with schedules varying by client and shifts available from 2 to 12 hours. Flexible scheduling is available, including daytime, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• One year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
• Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• CPR certification completed in person; online certification is not accepted.
• Reliable and dependable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting.
• Perform light housekeeping, such as removing trash and washing dishes.
• Help keep the bathroom, kitchen, and home clean and safe.
• Conduct basic observation and medical monitoring, and provide medication reminders under the RN Supervisor's direction.
• Document completed tasks and report changes in a client's condition.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
