About The Position
Westminster Home Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one home care to clients in Duval County. The CNA completes tasks requested by clients in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor. The schedule is PRN and varies by client, with shifts ranging from 2 to 12 hours. Flexible scheduling is available, including daytime, overnight, and weekend shifts. Requirements
- At least 1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.
- Active State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- CPR certification completed in person; online CPR certification is not accepted.
- Reliable and dependable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, and toileting.
- Complete other client-requested needs in accordance with home care guidelines and training, and as directed by the RN Supervisor.
- Perform light housekeeping, including removing trash and washing dishes.
- Do laundry as needed.
- Help ensure the bathroom, kitchen, and home are clean and safe.
- Provide basic observation and medical monitoring, and give medication reminders under the RN Supervisor's direction.
- Document tasks completed and report any change in a client's condition.
- Provide companionship and social engagement.
