CNA (Part Time- Assisted Living. AM and PM)
About The Position
Covenant Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in assisted living. This part-time role provides daily direct care to residents and supports their quality of life in a team-oriented, faith-based senior living community. The position includes both morning and evening shifts, with all shifts lasting six hours. The listed schedule alternates across two weeks of the pay period. The CNA assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments, and may also help with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. The role may be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
- Listing on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents on a daily basis.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, transportation, and transfers.
- Help with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- Keep resident rooms clean and orderly, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, and closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothing is marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notify a supervisor of clothing needs.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding residents.
- Follow direction from the nurse manager, licensed nurses on duty, or other supervisory staff.
