CNA - Assisted Living Part Time PM
About The Position
Covenant Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time afternoon/evening position in assisted living. The role provides daily direct care to residents and supports their quality of life in a faith-based senior living community. The CNA reports directly to the nurse manager and may also receive direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff. The position may be cross-trained in Assisted Living. In addition to personal care, the role includes assisting with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services. Resident care is provided according to procedures and daily assignments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
- Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.
Responsibilities
- Provide residents with basic personal care, including bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation or transfers.
- Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside tables, shelves, and closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notify a supervisor of clothing needs.
- Prepare residents for meals and assist with meal service and feeding.
- Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
- May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
