About The Position
Salinas Valley Post Acute is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential daily care to residents at its skilled nursing facility. The schedule is four days on and two days off, with day, evening, and night shifts available. The starting pay is $21.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience. The posting also advertises a $1,500 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Active California CNA certification.
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and other clinical data.
- Assist with meal service, feeding, and hydration as needed.
- Promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing leadership.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized care areas while following infection control protocols.
