About The Position
Mission Valley Post Acute is hiring full-time Certified Nursing Assistants for AM and PM shifts. CNAs provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting, following individualized care plans and working alongside nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare team members. The role offers a pay rate of $24.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience. New CNAs are welcome to apply, and training and professional development opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and other mobility needs while maintaining resident safety.
- Measure and record vital signs and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed nursing staff.
- Respond promptly and respectfully to call lights and resident requests.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, comfort, and overall well-being.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow infection control procedures, facility policies, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Collaborate with licensed nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality resident care.
