About The Position
Cascades at Riverwalk is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community providing long-term and short-term care. The Certified Nursing Assistant supports a geriatric resident population with daily needs, comfort, and dignity while working as part of a supportive care team. This is a full-time night-shift role from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. at Hemingford Care Center in Hemingford, Nebraska.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
- Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Answer call lights and support residents' daily needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
- Monitor residents' comfort, preferences, and dietary needs, treating them with dignity and respect.
- Document intake and output as needed and promptly report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents and their families.
