About The Position
Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their Medical Intensive Infirmary (MII) team at Johnson State Prison in Wrightsville, Georgia. The MII is a specialized unit caring for patients with complex medical and chronic healthcare needs. This role is suitable for CNAs who enjoy hands-on patient care, teamwork, and working in a structured, supportive clinical environment. The position offers meaningful work serving an underserved patient population, opportunities to build clinical experience and grow within correctional healthcare, and supportive leadership focused on teamwork, safety, and professional development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain facility security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, residential care, a physician practice, or correctional healthcare preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a specialty infirmary setting.
- Support patients with complex medical and chronic healthcare needs.
- Work alongside Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, physicians, and an experienced multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Contribute to a structured environment with clear expectations, established workflows, and dedicated security support.
