About The Position
Rose Arbor, a Sonida Senior Living community in Maple Grove, Minnesota, is a premier retirement community providing care in assisted living and memory care. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides resident care in accordance with accepted standards. The position pays $22 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour for trained and active medication aides. The required schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Benefits are subject to employment status and location eligibility.
Requirements
- Must hold a current, active, unencumbered Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant license.
- Experience in the same or a similar role in a long-term care community, assisted living, or equivalent skilled nursing setting.
- Experience passing and handling medications and treatments in a long-term care community, assisted living, or equivalent skilled nursing setting.
- Availability Monday through Friday for 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shifts.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
- Trained and active medication aide qualification, eligible for an additional $1 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Support residents' nutritional needs by setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Observe changes in residents' behavior and condition and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
