About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its new Dallas rehabilitation hospital. Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, the CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services within the limits of the position. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- CNA certification is required where mandated by the state in which the hospital is located.
Nice To Haves
- High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
- Two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
- Perform patient care activities within the limits of the position; do not administer medications or therapy or assume independent responsibility for patient care.
- Perform duties consistently with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
