About The Position

PAM Health Dallas is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its new rehabilitation hospital. Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, the CNA performs patient care activities and accommodative services within the limits of the position. The CNA does not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Duties must be performed in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. The role requires a current BLS certification and CNA certification where required by the state. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. No experience is required, though two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred. The position is listed as PRN days.

Requirements

Current BLS certification is required.
CNA certification is required where mandated by the state where the hospital is located.
