About The Position

Ridgewood Terrace, a Concord Health Systems facility, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its PRN pool. The locally owned and operated nursing home group serves Western Kentucky and focuses on respectful, attentive care that supports residents’ dignity, comfort, and well-being. The CNA assists residents with daily care needs and helps maintain a calm, supportive environment during shifts. Open availability is required, along with a minimum of one 12-hour shift per month.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kentucky.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts, including nights if applicable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Open availability and ability to work at least one 12-hour shift per month.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a nursing home; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide patient care and support in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Accurately document care provided in the medical record system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
