About The Position
Highland Palms is seeking a compassionate and dependable part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, resident-centered care and support residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs. The role is suited to someone passionate about caregiving who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and document resident conditions, vital signs, and changes in behavior.
- Provide emotional support and promote resident dignity and independence.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
- Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized resident environment.
- Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team members.
