About The Position

Jump start your career with Benedictine. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents. Working on the front lines, the CNA helps ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives. The role provides direct resident care, reports condition changes to an RN or LPN, and charts in the POC system. The CNA demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.

Requirements

• Be in good standing on the State Nursing Assistant registry or appropriate entity.
• Have good communication skills.
• Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Have BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
• Report residents’ condition changes to an RN or LPN.
• Chart in the POC system.
• Demonstrate time management and prioritize tasks.
• Help ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and have choices in their lives.
