About The Position
Jefferson House, part of Hartford HealthCare, provides long-term care and short-term rehabilitation to seniors in the greater Hartford area. Certified Nursing Assistants provide meaningful, compassionate care to older adults and build strong relationships with the people they care for. The position is listed for a 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. shift, every other weekend and holiday. A sign-on bonus is available for positions of 24 hours or more. Jefferson House is a nonprofit organization and the first nursing home opened in Connecticut. Its CNAs are part of a dedicated caregiving team within Hartford HealthCare, a health system with more than 37,000 employees and over 500 locations across Connecticut.
Requirements
- Connecticut CNA certification is required.
- A compassionate approach to older adults.
- Strong teamwork skills.
Nice To Haves
- One year of previous patient care experience is preferred.
