About The Position

The Shores, a United Methodist Communities community in Ocean City, New Jersey, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for its Health Care Center. The role supports residents in skilled nursing by providing daily clinical and personal care in accordance with individual care plans. Part-time day shifts are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; per diem overnight shifts are also available. Pay is $23.00 to $25.55 per hour based on experience, with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis. Some benefits depend on position, shift, and hours.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active New Jersey CNA certification in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry.
• Six months of experience in long-term care.
• Must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• May be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide care according to each resident’s care plan and accurately document services provided.
• Observe residents during the shift and report changes in condition, behavior, or functioning to the nursing team.
• Assist residents with meals, transfers, ambulation, and the use of mobility and adaptive equipment.
• Support residents’ comfort, safety, and daily routines while following established clinical procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to support resident care and unit operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and resident-focused healthcare environment.
