About The Position
Judson Park, a HumanGood community in Des Moines, Washington, is seeking a motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC/CNA) to join its skilled nursing team. The Nursing Assistant Certified follows the community’s “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care” by learning about residents’ interests and needs and helping them maximize their independence and participation. The role provides exemplary care ranging from basic needs and activities of daily living to recreational activities, and helps create a safe environment for resident care. This is a full-time position with a rotating evening schedule. New graduates start at $20.50 per hour; employees with 20 or more years of licensed CNA experience may earn up to $29.00 per hour in base pay.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant certificate.
- Must be a certified Washington State NAC/CNA.
Nice To Haves
- Prior CNA or caregiving experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop awareness of residents’ interests and needs.
- Assist residents in maximizing their independence and participation.
- Provide care for residents’ basic needs and activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with recreational activities.
- Help create a safe environment for resident care.
