About The Position
The Shores, a United Methodist Communities community in Ocean City, New Jersey, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for its Health Care Center. The team supports residents in skilled nursing and provides daily care to meet their clinical and personal needs. The role includes part-time day shifts from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and per diem overnight shifts. Pay is $23.00–$25.55 per hour, based on experience, with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends. Weekend and holiday shifts are scheduled on a rotating basis. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, active New Jersey CNA certification in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry, and six months of long-term care experience. Applicants must be able to produce a negative drug test and may be subject to a background check.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care tasks.
- Provide care in accordance with each resident’s care plan and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Observe residents throughout the shift and report changes in condition, behavior, or functioning to the nursing team.
- Assist residents with meals, transfers, ambulation, and the use of mobility and adaptive equipment.
- Support resident comfort, safety, and daily routines while following established clinical procedures.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to support resident care and unit operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and resident-focused healthcare environment.
