About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists residents with aspects of daily living as indicated in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. The role reports to the Health & Wellness Director. Full-time, part-time, on-call, and weekend-only schedules are offered across all shifts. The listed hourly salary range is $19.50–$21.00.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the job, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and intermittently lifting and supporting residents.
• Use proper body mechanics.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
• Dementia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
• Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
