About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the MST department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Encino Hospital Medical Center is a 150-bed hospital in Encino, California, serving a diverse population through inpatient and outpatient services. It is part of the Prime Healthcare Foundation and has a multidisciplinary staff of 330 physicians and 520 professional support staff.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
